{alltv} 'I Was Raped With My Clothes On,' Says Woman Suing KISS Rocker Gene Simmons For Dry Hump

The ESPN makeup artist who claims rocker Gene Simmons ground his groin into her has testified that she feels "like I was raped with my clothes on."

Simmons filed a preemptive lawsuit against Victoria Jackson in May, insisting he couldn't have sexually assaulted her at ESPN's Los Angeles studios after appearing on "Sportscenter" because he was wearing his KISS costume - "the equivalent of a suit of armor" - at the time.

But Jackson has herself sued Simmons.

And asked in an August 10 deposition to describe the emotional injuries she's alleging, the woman replied: "Emotionally, an overwhelming sense of sadness, nervousness, anxiety, a lot of shame and - just I feel like - I feel like I was raped with my clothes on."

Under questioning by Simmons's lawyer, Jackson also said the alleged November 24, 2009 assault  affected her sleep.

"I had a sense of somebody just taking something from me," she continued.

"Just a violation, a complete and utter violation, a disrespect for me and my body, myself as a  - as a human being."

Excerpts from the deposition were attached as an exhibit to a motion in which Simmons has asked a judge to compel Jackson to be examined by a psychologist.

His lawyer argues that she has made her mental health a relevant issue by claiming damages for emotional distress.

In court papers, Jackson says nothing in her allegations requires a mental health examination by an expert and that Simmons's request is a "cynical tactic" and "simply one more attempt to be [as] intrusive as possible in order to harass and intimidate [her]."

She testified in her deposition that she saw a psychotherapist in 2007 but "It wasn't anything that serious."

Simmons has accused Jackson of "shakedown tactics" but Jackson alleged in her assault suit that he approached her, said "I like you" in "a lecherous and inappropriate manner," and then "humped Plaintiff to the extent that she could feel his groin grinding into her. When he was done, Klein said[,] 'Aw, that's better! Now you can go.'"

According to a recent court filing by Jackson, another ESPN employee has confirmed her allegations, testifying in a deposition that Simmons "entered the room in which Jackson was working, made a bee line straight for her and then started humping her."

Simmons said in his deposition, the court document states, that he does not recall "hugging or even meeting Ms. Jackson ... Simmons['] only defense is that 'I would never do such a thing.'"

A hearing on the motion to compel the mental health exam is set for Nov. 3 in Los Angeles Superior Court.

{alltv} Oprah's new network has its OWN reality: shows, that is

TravelPassportVisaCenter.com is the fastest way to get a passport or visa, often in just 7 hours!

After a splashy New Year's Day launch, the Oprah Winfrey Network will settle into a regular schedule filled with nine hours of original prime-time reality series on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the network announces today.

Top shows include Master Class, in which leading figures offer life lessons; Your OWN Show, an Apprentice-style competition that eventually will give the winner his or her own series; and a weekly "behind the scenes" look at the production of the 25th and final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show, daytime TV's biggest success.

Winfrey will introduce her Master Class subjects, and become one herself in a later episode, part of a plan to increase her presence on the network.

Derek Baine, an analyst at industry consultant SNL Kagan, says cable systems "were not convinced she was fully committed to being on the air," forcing Discovery to insist on doubling her presence to 70 hours a year. (Winfrey was an early investor in Oxygen, helping to secure its launch, but quickly distanced herself from that channel, which is now owned by NBC.)

As a result, "expectations are really high" for the network, which could magnify inevitable failures, he says. "If things don't work right away, they will have to make changes more immediately than they probably would" at a typical start-up.

Though Winfrey — the first celebrity to have her name on a network — inspires enviable loyalty among fans, OWN executives are careful about overpromising, though ad buyers say the network is seeking premium ad rates. "Having someone add something new to their routine of watching television is a big deal," says the channel's president, former MTV chief Christina Norman.

"I know that as I start out on this next chapter, there are going to be some mistakes," Winfrey said at a conference last week. "I know nothing new is perfect, but I'm not scared."

{alltv} Oprah Winfrey prepares to venture out on her OWN

TravelPassportVisaCenter.com is the fastest way to get a passport or visa, often in just 7 hours!
After delays, management shake-ups and a renegotiation of her on-air commitment, Oprah Winfrey is ready for her cable close-up.

The Oprah Winfrey Network premieres at noon ET/PT on New Year's Day with a weekend lineup of sneak previews, Master Class interviews with Jay-Z and Diane Sawyer and Ask Oprah's All-Stars, the first of four two-hour specials that will offer viewers advice from Oprah disciples Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz and Suze Orman.

Discovery Networks is sinking $189 million into the joint venture with the talk-show queen and will reach 78 million homes — two-thirds of the country — right off the bat. Though the channel has announced plans for several shows emphasizing empowerment, until now it has kept specific rollout plans under wraps, along with two more series reuniting actors Ryan and Tatum O'Neal and country singers Naomi and Wynonna Judd as each works through "complex" parent-child relationships.

High-profile series, including globe-trotting interview show Oprah's Next Chapter and a daily talk show with Rosie O'Donnell, won't appear until fall. But launch weekend is designed to deliver "an honest and true representation of what OWN is," says channel president Christina Norman.

Programming chief Lisa Erspamer says the network's goal is "to entertain people, inspire people and educate people about themselves and others," without force-feeding viewers a diet of feel-good fare.

At a conference last week in Long Beach, Calif., Winfrey promised OWN will be "fun and entertaining without tearing people down and calling them bitches," an apparent swipe at competitors such as Bravo.

Her employee and admirer Dr. Phil McGraw, who has a big early presence on the new channel, says, "She gets to the answers people want to hear about subjects that matter," and "that whole philosophy is defining the network."

Fans will be waiting, and Winfrey — who promises to appear in 70 hours of programming a year — will make a bigger splash once production ends on her daytime talk show in May.

"It's hard to think of too many launches of new cable networks that are more hyped," says Todd Gordon, managing director at top ad buyer Initiative Media. "There's no doubt that shows Oprah is directly involved in will do very, very well. But the ultimate success of the network will be based on all the shows around it."
