{alltv} TV ratings: 'The Bachelor' gives ABC a Monday win, 'Harry's Law' steady

 

Fast National ratings for Monday, Jan. 31, 2011

The big four networks were pretty tightly bunched on Monday -- but none of them pulled in very impressive ratings. Thanks to "The Bachelor," ABC managed to end the night on top. Elsewhere, "Harry's Law" remained consistent for NBC, but "The Cape" continued to struggle.

ABC led the evening with 8.4 million viewers and a 5.6 rating/9 share in households. A night of reruns on CBS (8.15 million, 5.1/8) was not far behind in second. FOX (7.4 million, 4.4/7) narrowly beat NBC (7.2 million, 4.4/7) for third place. The CW was well back with 1.6 million viewers and a 1.1/2.

Things played out pretty much the same in the adults 18-49 demographic: ABC got the win, albeit with a less-than-stellar 2.7 rating, while CBS took second with a 2.4. FOX, 2.2, came in third, followed by NBC at 1.8. The CW drew a 0.8.

{alltv} Christina Applegate Has a Baby Girl

 

Christina Applegate is a brand new mom – of a baby girl, her rep tells PEOPLE.

"Actress Christina Applegate and fiancé, musician Martyn LeNoble, welcomed daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 in Los Angeles," the spokesperson said in a statement. "Mother and daughter are doing great."

Adds someone close to the proud parents: "She's a beautiful little girl, and they are so happy and in love with her."

Applegate, 39, and LeNoble, 41, have been dating for nearly three years and became engaged last Valentine's Day. The pregnancy was announced in July.

In August, Applegate told PEOPLE: "I'll probably be a little bit hippie and a little bit Type A. I'll take from what my mother did, which was way hippie and like, 'Do what you wanna do,' and bring some things that I know from watching my friends raise their kids. An amalgamation of sorts."

{alltv} Miranda Cosgrove Reveals Heartbreak Over 'the One Who Got Away'

She's only 17, but Miranda Cosgrove already knows heartbreak.

"I've only had one serious boyfriend, but we dated for three years," the iCarly actress says in the March issue of Seventeen. "We broke up not that long ago. He's the one guy I really, really liked. People say they have that one person they never forget – I feel like that. Even though we don't talk too much anymore, he'll be the one who got away."

Cosgrove, who won't reveal his name but says she met her now-ex at work, says that "yeah," she was heartbroken over the breakup – and finally understood what all the fuss was about.

"My two best friends have gone through breakups that were really hard, and I remember thinking, 'How could this be so hard and important to them?' " she says. "Literally for months they were really upset and they couldn't get over it."

"I had no idea what it was like," she adds. "And now that I've been through it, I totally understand. It was really hard."

With a good dose of crying and "a lot" of talking it out with her friends, Cosgrove said she managed to get over the worst of it. But that doesn't mean she's ready to get back out there and start dating again.

"I've been on two dates and I meet really nice people all the time, but I'm not completely over my ex," she says. "Right now I feel a little funny going out with people."

{alltv} Chuck's Sarah Lancaster Is Married - and Pregnant

Chuck's Sarah Lancaster has had a busy year already.

The actress, 30, married her boyfriend of two years, attorney Matthew Jacobs, Saturday in a small ceremony in Southern California, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively. But there's more: She's also pregnant!

"It's a really happy time in our lives," the couple say in a statement. "We are thrilled to be starting a family and our wedding weekend was simply perfect."

Lancaster's personal wedding touches included wearing her grandmother's gold mesh heirloom bracelet – which Lancaster's parents had engraved with her grandparents' wedding date and gave her as a wedding gift – and her mother's pearl earrings.

The bride wore a dress by Amsale, while the groom donned his father's 3-piece wedding suit from the 1960s.

Lancaster stars as Ellie, the sister to Zachary Levy's Chuck on the NBC comedy spy series, now in its fourth season. She has also recently filmed a costarring role in the independent drama feature The Good Doctor, with Orlando Bloom.
