Charlie Sheen and Warner Bros. TV, which produces his show "Two and a Half Men," are reportedly not talking to each other about a new contract. Yet neither side is especially worried about it.
That's the word from the Sheen-trackers at TMZ, which is contradicting other reports that Sheen and Warner Bros. are hashing out a new contract for him to continue with the CBS sitcom.
Despite the apparent lack of talks, TMZ says both sides are confident they'll reach a deal by the time CBS announces its 2010-11 schedule on May 19 -- although the only suspense surrounding "Men" has to do with Sheen's involvement. The show is in the middle of a two-season order from CBS.
TMZ says Sheen is seeking a seven-figure salary per episode for next season, while Warner Bros. has offered with a slightly lower seven-figure sum per episode. If things play out as they usually do, it's likely they'll meet somewhere in the middle.
