While it may not have been as decadent as the notorious original Opium launch party in N.Y.C. in 1977, Thursday night's soirée for YSL's new fragrance Belle D'Opium was certainly more than glamorous than most with attendees like Maggie Gyllenhaal and Ashley Olsen taking in the tunes spun by guest DJs Alexa Chung and model Alexandra Richards. So why do stars love YSL so much? "It's just so classic. All the lines are just so beautiful and something that's just so timeless," Whitney Port told PEOPLE, although she did admit her praise was more as a fan than as a fellow fashion designer. Richards, who spun custom mixes that can be purchased on iTunes while wearing a sexy YSL vest, shared Port's love of all things YSL, calling the label, "really beautiful, sexy chic." As for what scent Richards wore for the big night out? "I'm sure I'll be smelling it tonight so I didn't wear any perfume."
