After enduring a scathing public critique of her curves earlier this year, Mad Men star Christina Hendricks admits that she's still smarting. "I still remember all those negative comments, despite all the wonderful positivity," Health's July/August cover girl says of reading Internet postings about her appearance. "That's why we're all in therapy! [We remember] the 10 bad things that happen to us instead of the 100 nice ones." But despite the criticism, Hendricks says she has always celebrated her curves. "Back when I was modeling, the first time I went to Italy I was having cappuccinos every day, and I gained 15 pounds. And I felt gorgeous!" she says. "And I never tried to lose it, 'cause I loved it." Now, at 35, the former dancer does have to work to maintain her famous shape, preferring weight training and working with the BOSU ball to the treadmill. "I've really had to train myself to get down to the gym," she says. "But what surprised me was that my husband said [the other day], 'I'm going down to work out,' and I was like, 'Oh, I wish I was going.' My friends will read this and be like, "No you didn't,'" she laughs. "But it's true!"
