Dennis Miller has done well since leaving "Saturday Night Live." The Fox News pundit has put his 10,000-square-foot Santa Barbara mansion, designed by Stanford White in 1895, on the market for $17.5 million. The nearly 4-acre spread is a short walk from Oprah Winfrey's 42-acre plantation, Tara. Miller and his wife, Carolyn, who have two sons -- Holden, 20, and Marlon, 17 -- bought the house in 1993 for an unknown, but presumably puny, price and restored it the following year, reports Montecito Journal columnist Richard Mineards.
