CBS has ordered a pilot for a companion series to its hit reality show Undercover Boss, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The untitled project will pit two employees from the same company against one another for the chance to score a major promotion. Like Boss, the show will feature different companies for each episode.
Studio Lambert, also behind Boss, will produce the show.
Boss, which returns Sunday, Sept. 26 (10/9c), had a very successful first season. The series debuted to 38.7 million viewers after Super Bowl XLIV — the largest CBS series premiere since 1987. The season averaged 17.8 million viewers, often building on its lead-in, The Amazing Race 16.
