"The Life and Times of Tim" still has some life left in it after all.
HBO, which canceled the series earlier this year, has reversed course and decided to order a third season of "Tim." Like the first two seasons, Season 3 will run for 10 episodes, Deadline.com reports.
"Tim" joins a roster of canceled-then-resurrected animated series that also includes "Family Guy" and "Futurama" -- although unlike those shows, its fans won't have to wait years between new episodes. HBO hasn't set a return date yet, but it's conceivable the show could be back in the lineup in 2011.
Steve Dildarian created the show and does the voice of Tim, whose life is a series of small humiliations that snowball into big ones. It's produced by MRC, which also makes the already-renewed "Ricky Gervais Show" for HBO.
