Rip Torn skipped the dinner cruise his daughter Angelica Torn hosted the other night aboard the vintage Mariner III yacht to celebrate the DVD release of "Lucky Days," which she directed and starred in with Federico Castelluccio, Luke Zarzecki and her dad. Angelica told guests that Rip had responded to her invitation by saying "he didn't want to be on any boat he couldn't paddle." The real reason he didn't come was that Vision Vodka sponsored the event and he isn't drinking these days. Angelica said, "He didn't want to put himself in that position, which we all respect."
