Making good on a promise, America's Got Talent winner Michael Grimm proposed Thursday to Lucy Zolcerova, his girlfriend of nearly three years – during a taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Her answer: Yes.
Grimm, 30, a Mississippi blues singer who won $1 million – which he plans to use to buy his grandparents a house – revealed his plans to marry Lucy and that she was the inspiration for his performance of "When a Man Loves a Woman" during Tuesday's finals.
"She's been there for me," Grimm tells DeGeneres during the show, which airs Friday. "Once you find that good woman you hang on to her."
While interviewing him, DeGeneres called Lucy down from the audience, and Grimm got on one knee to pop the question.
