Britney, meet Brittany. Brittany, meet Britney.
Spelling differences aside, pop icon Britney Spears makes a cameo appearance in a new episode of Glee, airing Tuesday, Sept. 28 on Fox and Global.
The episode actually is titled Britney/Brittany.
Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) insists that the glee club opts for adult contemporary music at the school assembly, but the kids have secret plans. As they gear up to perform Britney Spears' hits, they learn that their own Brittany (Heather Morris) has a connection to Spears.
Brittany has taken on a bigger role as Glee has entered its second season, as fans of the show clearly love her clueless-but-humourous random comments.
Also, John Stamos guest-stars as a new love interest for Emma (Jayma Mays).
