The new cast member on "The Real Housewives of New York City" has reportedly been signed -- and though you may not recognize her name yet, it's possible you're familiar with her work.
According to Us magazine, the Bravo show has tapped Cindy Barshop to join the "RHONY" cast for its fourth season (Bravo isn't commenting). She would replace Bethenny Frankel on the show.
Barshop is a single mother to infant twin girls and the owner of Completely Bare, a chain of day spas with outlets in Manhattan, Scarsdale, N.Y., and Palm Beach, Fla.
That's how you may have heard of her. Sure, her spas offer the usual hair removal, tanning and facials, but we also may have her to thank/blame for the idea of "vajazzling." You know, applying stick-on crystals to your lady parts.
(Incidentally, the Completely Bare Facebook page features a picture of Barshop with The Situation and Pauly D of "Jersey Shore," although they appeared to be stopping in just for a spray tan.)
Barshop has even posted a do-it-yourself video on YouTube for those who wish to vajazzle at home (it's below; we think that's Barshop's voice providing the instructions). Which, um, yeah, doesn't sound like the best idea to us. The mind reels as to what that might mean for her castmates.
