Fox has locked in a series adaptation of the comic book series Locke & Key, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The network has made a full series commitment to the project, which will be produced by DreamWorks TV and the team of Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Fringe, Star Trek, Hawaii Five-0). Josh Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) will serve as head writer.
Locke & Key, which was created by Stephen King's son, Joe Hill, revolves around the three Locke children who watch over a mysterious New England mansion filled with magical doors that can transport them to different worlds and grant them powers. The comic debuted in 2008 and launched its fourth installment last month.
