Martin Scorsese knows the secret to big ratings: little people. For his new Prohibition-era
HBO series, "Boardwalk Empire," the director of "Raging Bull" and "Shutter Island" has one scene featuring midget boxers duking it out in front of an audience including Al Capone.
Randy Neumann, a former middleweight with long experience as a referee, spent about 15 hours filming the fight scene at the Masonic temple in Brooklyn. Neumann, who describes Scorsese as "a true gentleman," told us, "It's an unusual fight. I hope you enjoy the show."
