Jonas Brothers doubters can enjoy their Labor Day BBQ with some all-American humble pie. The trio's Disney Channel telepic, "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," nabbed the highest ratings of any other 2010 cable movie during its September 3 premiere broadcast.
The second and presumably final installation in the "Camp Rock" franchise, co-headlined by Demi Lovato, took in 8 million total viewers over the course of its two-hour broadcast.
In a release, the Disney Channel also works some math magic, posing that if each of the 8 million total viewers had bought a $7.95 ticket (the U.S. average for a movie) to see it in theaters, "Camp Rock 2" would have grossed $63.2 million opening night.
We're sure every one of those 8 million would have risen to the occasion
