Friday Night Lights has been dumped by ABC Family.
Repeats of the football drama starring Emmy nominees Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton failed to perform on the netlet this summer.
"FNL is no longer on the schedule," a network spokesperson said. "Ratings were cited in the decision to take [it] off the schedule."
Friday Night Lights will return to DirecTV for its final season on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 9/8c.
