How did CBS come up with new shows before Twitter?
The network has bought an idea based on the blog and Twitter feed "Dear Girls Above Me," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Brought to CBS by Ashton Kutcher's Katalyst Productions and the Schiff Co., "Dear Girls Above Me" is written by Charlie McDowell, a guy driven to distraction by the roommates living above him.
Kutcher is also producing another Twitter-based series called Shh ... Don't Tell Steve for CBS.
The network also picked up a medical drama from Rescue Me producers Denis Leary and Jim Serpico. It follows three doctors who return to work at their university's hospital.
Does either project sound interesting to you?
