Kris Lythgoe, son of "American Idol" executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, has cast two cross-dressing "ugly sisters" named Seecrest and Cowel in his panto "Cinderella." Panto is a type of traditional British theater often based on nursery tales and featuring characters in costume. Sources said the sisters, men dressed as women, "will be camp and constantly bickering," rather like the real Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest. Lythgoe told us: "I've deliberately spelled the sisters' names differently. I hope Simon and Ryan get the joke." "Cinderella" will run in Hollywood's El Portal Theater from Nov. 27 to Dec. 19.
