Edie Falco says "Sopranos" co-star
James Gandolfini has a passion for food -- on camera, and off. Falco told the Woodstock Film Festival that shooting had to shut down one day after seven takes of a scene that required him to chow down. The burly actor ate with such gusto, the crew ran out of food before getting what they wanted, The Post's
V.A. Musetto reports. Asked about the possibility of a big-screen version of the popular
HBO show, Falco said she'd jump at the chance but had not "heard a thing." She also said she "would not be where I am today" if she hadn't quit drinking 19 years ago. At first, she said, she didn't want her character on "Nurse Jackie" to be an oxycodone addict because the habit hit so close to home, but now she feels far enough away from her struggles to handle it. "Addiction is no joke, it's just awful," she confessed. "I was one of the very lucky ones."
