The verdict is in: Outlaw is out.
NBC has moved the first-year legal drama starring Jimmy Smits to Saturdays at 8/7c, according to Variety. Production on the series had already been halted last week after it failed to draw viewers on Friday nights.
The sneak preview of Outlaw debuted to 10.7 million viewers, but once the drama moved from Wednesday into its permanent Friday-night timeslot, the audience dropped to 5 million. The latest episode drew just 4.2 million.
The show's remaining four episodes will air Saturdays beginning this week.
NBC reps did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.
