This is one of those rare occasions when the phrase "over my dead body" actually applies.
One wouldn't guess that Oprah Winfrey was the "last person" Michael Jackson would have wanted around his children. But that's the story according to Randy Jackson, who voiced his disapproval via Twitter after Winfrey scored an exclusive with Katherine and Joe Jackson and Michael's three kids.
But a source close to the family tells E! News that Katherine and Joe wanted to sit down with Oprah to give her "the real story" about what's been happening—financially, legally, emotionally—since their son's death.
So what's with the grudge?

Well, younger brother Randy started off a Twitter rant by saying that he loves his parents very much, but doesn't always agree with their decisions.
"I found out Oprah was at our family home, my stomach ached and it still hasn't gone away," he wrote Tuesday, adding the following day, "I had no prior knowledge this was going to happen. it was deliberately kept from me because they knew i would have tried to stop it."
Again, what does Randy have against the outgoing queen of daytime?
"I know how Oprah feels about my brother and family. i also know that he would not have wanted this," he continued. "In fact, she is the last person on earth he would want around his children... i can never forget when she had the show on pedophilia during the jury deliberation process in my brother's santa maria case."
Ohhh.
"That was no coincidence," Randy concluded. "I know there are a lot of you out there upset and angry over this. i don't blame you...can you imagine how i feel. i'm angry 2...Let our anger be the fuel that ignites our desire for truth, and keeps us unified on the road to justice for him."
A rep for Oprah producer Harpo has yet to respond to a request for comment about either the topics she discussed with the Jacksons or Randy's response.
But at least the kids seem to be all right.
According to E!'s family source, Prince, Paris and Blanket are adjusting well to life at the Jackson family compound in Encino, Calif. Prince, 13, and Paris, 12, are enrolled at the pricey, private Buckley School, which counts Nicole Richie, Matthew Perry, Alyssa Milano and the Hilton sisters among its alumni.
"The kids [at school] don't really know who they are," the source says. "They don't know how famous they are, so it's nice for them to be in school where they have friends and a normal life. They seem really happy."
