Fast National ratings for Friday, October 15, 2010
While CBS is still the uncontested leader of Friday night programming, this was a big week for The CW, which is almost consistently the least-watched network. The highly anticipated 200th episode of veteran drama "Smallville" gave the network a healthy boost this week.
CBS averaged 8.6 million and a 5.5 rating/10 share in households for the night, beating NBC's second place showing of 4.25 million and a 2.9/5 by a wide margin. ABC followed closely with 4.21 million and a 2.8/5). The CW was, for once, not in last place, snagging 2.99 million viewers (1.6/3) and FOX followed with 2.5 million and a 1.6/3 share.
In the 18-49 adult demo, CBS led with a 1.5 rating, followed by The CW (1.3), ABC and NBC (both with 1.1) and FOX (0.8)
