What do a forest in British Columbia and Ferris Bueller have in common?
Well, there are elements of both in a new episode of The Buried Life that airs Monday, Nov. 15 on MTV.
The Buried Life technically is a product of MTV in the U.S., but it stars four young Canadian men -- Jonnie Penn, Duncan Penn, Ben Nemtin and Dave Lingwood -- who explore the premise, "What do you want to do before you die?" They not only cross items off their own list, but help others to do the same.
This Monday, Jonnie Penn comes to Toronto to help 25-year-old Zoë stage a protest against a company that is clear-cutting a forest in her home town of Cortes Island, B.C.
Also, The Buried Life foursome attempts to crash the Iowa State Parade a la Ferris Bueller and perform a song-and-dance routine atop a float.
Hmmm, do you think they'll opt for Danke Schoen or Twist and Shout?
