Han Solo is arguably the most loved character in the "Star Wars" universe. Except maybe by the guy who played him.
Harrison Ford offered up a rather uncharitable assessment of the character in an interview with ABC News, even going so far as to say that Han should have died in "Return of the Jedi."
"As a character he was not so interesting to me," Ford says. "I thought he should have died in the last one, just to give it some bottom."
"Star Wars" creator George Lucas, Ford says, wasn't so keen on that idea: "George didn't think there was any future in dead Han toys."
Ford made his comments while promoting his new movie "Morning Glory," in which his character (we're guessing) also does not die.
