NBC does not have the best decision-making history at 10 o'clock -- just a year ago they were still experimenting with the doomed "Jay Leno Show."
Now, with the current run of "The Apprentice" coming to an end and two mid-season comedies with no place to go, EW reports NBC might stretch its comedy block through 11 p.m. ET on Thursdays.
According to a source, the network is considering moving "30 Rock" to 10 p.m. to accommodate the return of "Parks and Recreation" in its current 8:30 p.m. slot -- which it's only occupied for the current season.
"The Office" and "Community" aren't likely to be affected by the proposed change, but freshman sitcom "Outsourced" would likely get bumped back an hour to 10:30 p.m. In its place, a new series called "Perfect Couples," which NBC has saved for mid-season.
Still, there's always the possibility that it would just sub in one of its several "Law & Order" offerings instead -- but given the poor ratings for "The Apprentice," a shake-up isn't out of the question.
Would you follow "30 Rock" or "Outsourced" to the later hour -- or are six episodes of comedy in a row just too much?
