Steven Weber and D.L. Hughley have signed on to star in TNT's Allan Loeb pilot, according to Deadline.com.
The untitled project, based on The Rabbit Factory novel by Marshall Karp, follows two Los Angeles detectives. Weber, 49, will portray Detective Mike Lomax, who still receives weekly letters from his dead wife a year after her passing. Hughley, 47, will play Terry Biggs, Lomax's newly married partner.
Weber (Wings) and Hughley (The Hughleys) also co-starred in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
Loeb (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps) will executive-produce with Steven Pearl and Ken Topolsky.
