In last week's episode of "Supernatural," we learned that in order for Sam (Jared Padalecki) to get his soul back, he and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are going to have to work for Crowley... the king of hell. Otherwise, Sam's soul stays in the cage forever.
Unsurprisingly, Dean isn't too keen on the idea of working with a demon -- though Sam does have some experience in that area. Dean gets frustrated when Sam agrees to go along with Crowley's master plan, but Sam assures him that despite his glaring lack of a soul, he's still Sam.
"I'm working for a demon, I don't even know who you are, I just need a second to adjust," Dean says.
Sam is determined to make things right. "Look, this is a crap situation, I get it, but Dean, I'm still me. Same melon, same memories. I still like the same music. I still think about Susie Eiser."
We're looking forward to finding out just how much of Sam's personality is contained in his soul - we already know he's missing some instinct, fear, and compassion - and how much he's still held onto.
In Friday's episode, "All Dogs Go to Heaven," we'll get some more details, while Sam and Dean hunt down what they think is a werewolf. Spoiler alert: it's not a werewolf. In the course of their investigation,Sam and Dean realize that they need to kill the Alpha skinwalker to prevent scattered sleeper cells from slaughtering families.
Watch the clip below, then let us know your thoughts. What do you think Sam is missing? Do you think they're making a mistake by going along with Crowley's plan? How long do you think it'll take them to get Sam's soul back?
