Teen Mom Amber Portwood has been charged with domestic violence.
According to a TMZ.com, Indiana officials have confirmed the star of the MTV reality TV series has received domestic violence and battery charges for allegedly hitting her baby-daddy Gary Shirley on three separate accounts over the summer.
Cops say Portwood slapped Shirley in front of their daughter Leah, and also punched him several times in the face and upper body. A criminal investigation began after an episode from the second season of Teen Mom - in which Portwood was seen repeatedly slapping and punching Shirley - aired this fall.
Portwood could be looking at three years in jail and up to $10,000 worth of fines if she's convicted.
