The good news: AMC has a new trailer for its 2011 drama "The Killing."
The bad news: It's about as ambiguous as 23 seconds of new footage can get.
But those 22 seconds sure are pretty. There's a washed out field, Mireille Enos ("Big Love") looking contemplative and Michelle Forbes ("Battlestar Galactica," "True Blood") looking sad.
(All of the mystery shouldn't be much of a surprise. This is the same network responsible for "Mad Men's" misleading previews.)
Based on a Danish miniseries of the same name ("Forbrydelsen"), the U.S. incarnation of "The Killing" premieres in March, with each of the 13 episodes chronicling an entire day of a murder investigation. Here are a few snippets of day 1:
