'Tis the season when celebrities and the super-rich jet to exotic -- and usually warmer -- locations for the holidays.
The Caribbean is a favorite destination. Yankee captain Derek Jeter and girlfriend Minka Kelly have joined Michael Jordan as well as 50 Cent and BET founder Bob Johnson at Anguilla's plush Viceroy Hotel. They will tee off in former NFL star Ruben Brown's Anguilla classic, a charity golf tournament. Sources tell us that Johnson is also planning a lavish bash on the island for the boldface guests.
Meanwhile, Mick Jagger is relaxing with girlfriend L'Wren Scott on Mustique. Other guests who made it onto the exclusive island include designer Tom Ford and his partner, journalist Richard Buckley, and "Good Morning America" anchor George Stephanopoulos and his family.
Storming St. Barts are Sean "Diddy" Combs, who was spotted styling it out shirtless on a banana boat ride with his kids, as well as New York real estate mogul Aby Rosen and his wife, Samantha Boardman.
Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich,with girlfriend Dasha Zhukova, is busy planning his annual St. Barts New Year's party, with sources telling us the bash may take place in a luxury villa rather than on a yacht, after bad weather threatened last year's bash.
Mexico's Cabo has also attracted its share of famous faces, including on-again couple Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz. Discovery Land Co. boss Mike Meldman will throw a party at his resort, the El Dorado Golf and Beach Club. Also expected in Cabo are the Katzenberg and Von Furstenburg families, which are likely to arrive by yacht.
Donald Trump is leading the charge to Palm Beach, where he's hosting a New Year's Eve party at his sprawling estate Mar-a-Lago for guests expected to include Tiger Woods.
