{alltv} Has Demi Lovato been cast in Marvel's 'The Avengers'?

 

Fanboys were in a tizzy on Dec. 28, after Radar Online reported that Disney star Demi Lovato was up for a role in Marvel's highly-anticipated "The Avengers," which is set to begin filming in April. So is the report true? Will the "Sonny With a Chance" star's first post-rehab move be a huge blockbuster film?

No need to "Hulk" out, "Avengers" fans. The Hollywood Reporters says sources connected to both Lovato and Marvel have quickly denied the rumor. However, the Marvel source did have more to say about the film.

The source revealed that they are looking to cast an actress in an unspecified role. So far the only actress cast in the film has been Scarlett Johansson (as the Black Widow). The Joss Whedon directed film is, so far, male-heavy, with Robert Downey Jr.(Iron Man), the recently married Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (in his first appearance as Hulk), Chris Evans (Captain America), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Samuel Jackson (Nick Fury).
