Fast National ratings for Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010
Reruns worked well for CBS on Thursday night, easily beating ABC's back-to-back offerings of
"Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (the cartoon and the live action versions) and the night's only new outing, FOX's "Million Dollar Money Drop."
CBS averaged 8.0 million viewers and a 4.9 rating/9 share. "The Grinch" did well for ABC, landing the network in second with 6.5 million viewers and a 3.4/6. FOX (4.9 million, 2.9/5) came in third, with NBC (2.5 million, 1.7/3) in fourth and the CW (1.2 million and a 0.8/1) in fifth.
ABC won the night among adults 18-49, finishing the 2.0. CBS and FOX tied for second at 1.5, with NBC at 0.9 and the CW with a 0.4.
