Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010
A night of reruns on CBS scored an easy ratings win among total viewers Tuesday, but a "Saturday Night Live" Christmas special helped NBC score the top spot among adults 18-49.
CBS delivered 10.1 million viewers and a 6.5 rating/11 share in households for the night, easily beating second-place NBC (6.35 million, 3.7/6). FOX came in third with 4.8 million viewers and a 2.9/5, beating out ABC (3.7 million, 2.4/4). The CW didn't break the million-viewer mark, averaging 890,000 viewers and a 0.6/1.
NBC led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.3 rating, beating out CBS' 1.9. FOX was not far behind in third with a 1.7. Neither ABC (0.8) nor The CW (0.3) broke the 1.0 mark.
