•Oprah Winfrey begins a new TV chapter with the New Year's Day launch of her own network, OWN (Saturday, noon, ET/PT). Look for it where Discovery Health used to be.
•If you're looking for CSI: Miami (CBS, Sunday, 8 ET/PT), look earlier. It's moved.
•We find out whether Paul is alive in the partial resolution of a Desperate Housewives (ABC, Sunday, 9 ET/PT) cliffhanger that is less "who shot" than "who cares?" Which, sad to say, pretty much sums up the season so far.
