Fast National ratings for Friday, Feb. 4, 2011
CBS led all three hours of primetime in viewers en route to a ratings win Friday night, while the premiere of "Who Do You Think You Are?" on NBC put up decent numbers. "Fringe" fell off some from its first two Friday outings, though, and The CW's "Smallville" and "Supernatural," while even with their last original episodes in December, were both off their season averages a little.
CBS scored 9.2 million viewers and a 5.5 rating/9 share in households for the night, beating NBC (8.2 million, 5.3/9) for the lead. ABC (5 million, 3.2/6) came in third. FOX took fourth with 4.15 million viewers and a 2.4/4, while The CW brought in 2.3 million people and a 1.4/2.
There was a three-way tie for the lead among adults 18-49: CBS, FOX and NBC all averaged a 1.7 rating in the demographic. ABC drew a 1.2 and The CW a 1.0.
