Claire Forlani has booked a recurring role on NCIS: Los Angeles as the team's new operations manager, a show rep confirms.
The actress will play Lauren Hunter, putting the future of current operations manager Hetty (Linda Hunt) in question. According to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news, Lauren and Hetty will be part of the season's big cliff-hanger that will leave fans wondering whether Hunt will stick with the procedural next season.
Forlani's arc starts May 10.
Forlani can currently be seen as Queen Igraine in Starz's Camelot. She has also recurred on CSI:NY as medical examiner Dr. Peyton Driscoll.
