With the return of Christopher "Big Black" Boyken from MTV's "Rob and Big," the fourth season of "Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory" seems to have fulfilled a missing piece.
Zap2it caught up with Chanel "the rapping receptionist" at the Reality Rocks Expo in Los Angeles, where she filled us in on her daily duties at corpo, working with Big Black and why she wasn't star struck when Justin Bieber stopped by.
"I don't have too many responsibilities," she laughs. "I wouldn't really call it a job, it's just a lot of fun. It's not really not like a job -- your typical job at least. I greet everybody that comes in the factory... I greet people with raps." Adding that she generally just hangs around with the guys and isn't required to do "too much filing or phones, or anything."
One person the bubbly blonde didn't greet on set with a rap was Bieb, who made a guest appearance in the first episode of the season.
"I already knew Justin, so it was kinda weird," she explains. "Cause usually I greet people and they're like 'Oh, who's this rappin' chick?' It would have been awkward. It's like rapping to my friend when she comes over. It's just kinda weird, I don't do that!"
As for what the rest of this season holds, Chanel teases a new musical venture for the crew.
"We form a band this season called 'The Bleeding Frogs,' which is pretty hilarious," she tells us. "A little bit more of my music will be featured in, I believe, the last episode of the season, so that's something to look out for. This is the craziest season we've had yet."
Contributing to the crazy this time around is Big Black, who makes his first full time appearance on the MTV program.
"We didn't have him for the first three seasons, so it's a little bit different now," she tells us. "Everybody's like, 'Oh my God, that's what the Fantasy Factory was missing!' And it's funny for me too because I got used to filming with the guys and working with them, and I was a fan of 'Rob and Big' before, and I didn't really get used to Big Black. So it's weird like, now I'm filming with Big Black! I was a little starstruck myself, at first."
You can see Chanel on "Fantasy Factory" Sundays at 10:30 PM on MTV.
