Charlie Sheen didn't want to show his face at Snoop Dogg's record-release party in LA for fear of upstaging him. Sources say that the two were working in the studio when Snoop invited him to the bash but that "Charlie told Snoop he didn't want to come along because there'd be chaos and he didn't want to distract from Snoop's night."
Snoop performed a deejay set for guests, including Paris and Nicky Hilton. Later, Snoop headed back to the studio "to continue working with Charlie. They've become pretty close friends."
