One edition of Bravo's popular Real Housewives franchise has not been re-elected.
Bravo has canceled the Real Housewives of D.C. after just one season, EW reports. It's the first time in the franchise's history that an iteration hasn't made it to a second season.
"We had an amazing season and we told stories that were unique to any other in the franchise," Bravo's Andy Cohen told the Washington Post. "I wish all our D.C. wives the best and hope to work with them again in another capacity."
Ratings for the series set in the nation's capital were adequate, averaging about 1.4 million viewers. The newbie Beverly Hills edition, however, doubled those rating in its January finale.
Will you miss Michaele Salahi and the rest of the DC housewives?
