For their second "Dancing with the Stars" performance of Monday (May 9) evening, Romeo and partner Chelsea Hightower drew the song "Tequila." Good thing the dance they'd practiced was the salsa. Somehow tequila and salsa just go together.
After a hilarious intro montage in which we're treated to Chelsea taking Romeo to a "real" salsa club to learn a thing or two (Romeo: "Do you wanna salsa with me?"), the couple took the floor and -- if you ask us -- totally nailed it.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba didn't agree, saying "There was something a little off. It was a little out of sync. Needed to be just a little tighter and in sync."
True, the pair did lose their momentum briefly.
Bruno Tonioli, too, pointed out the mistake: "Salsa is all about fluidity of movement, so when you lose it -- you covered it very well -- but we have to point that out."
There were some nuances in the music, said judge Len Goodman, for once being reasonable. "Okay. There was a tiny incident. What did it matter? I loved it. I was with it."
Score: 25 out of 30, bringing them up to a total of 52 for this week.
Considering the teensy amount of time Romeo and Chelsea had to pull together the routine, we think they totally rocked it.
