The same day insurance giant Aflac announced a new duck-voice spokesman, fired comic Gilbert Gottfried celebrated the release of his new book, "Rubber Balls and Liquor," at Caroline's on Broadway. "I think it's now people pretending they hate me, but wanting to see what I'm going to do to anger them," Gottfried told The Post's Mandy Stadtmiller of his tweets about Japan that got him the boot. But at the party the other night, surrounded by friends Paul Shaffer, Caroline Rhea and Dave Attell, Gottfried showed he's never afraid to make a joke about anything. As his 3-year-old daughter, Lily, and 6-year-old nephew, Graham, stole the spotlight during his speech by interrupting and acting cute, Gottfried riffed, "I'm also working with St. Jude's Hospital. It was these kids' final wish to meet me. It's OK. They'll both be dead in about a half-hour."
