Ex-Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and Brit Steve Jones will host the U.S. version of "The X-Factor," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
A source tells THR a formal announcement is expected "shortly," ahead of Sunday's (May 8) judges rounds competition kick off in Los Angeles. The show debuts on Fox in September.
Scherzinger is a former member of girl group The Pussycat Dolls, a solo artist and former "Dancing with the Stars" competitor. Jones doesn't have much of a stateside profile, but has reportedly hosted some "big live TV shows" in the U.K.
The hosts join previously announced judges Cowel, Cheryl Cole and Antonio "L.A." Reid. Paula Abdul's involvement is still not clear.
