LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Laura Prepon and Naomi Judd will star in "The Killing Game," a Lifetime TV movie based on the best-seller by Iris Johansen.
Prepon will play Eve Duncan, the heroine in Johansen's 1999 suspense thriller, who 10 years after the disappearance and murder of her 7-year-old daughter Bonnie, is contacted by a man claiming to be her killer.
Taunted by his clues about Bonnie's case and his threats to kill again, she throws herself into her career as a forensic sculptor and works to close the case.
Naomi Judd will co-star as Eve's mother, Sandra Duncan.
"The Killing Game," one of 12 Johansen novels revolving around Eve Duncan, has sold nearly 2 million copies worldwide. Johansen has penned 30 consecutive New York Times best-sellers with more than 35 million copies of her books in print worldwide.
Prepon, who rose to fame in "That '70s Show," next stars as Chelsea Handler in NBC's midseason comedy "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea."
