Doctors who are treating rocker Bret Michaels will be holding a press conference next week to explain his condition, an update on the Poison frontman's blog says.
On the myspace blog, his rep also writes that Michaels is still undergoing treatment after he suffered a brain hemorrhage on April 22.
"Bret remains in critical condition in ICU under 24 hour supervision by doctors and medical staff," the blog entry says. "Doctors are also continuing to treat Bret for the hyponatremia and he will be undergoing more testing as well as an additional MRA."
The post says the doctors who have been treating Michaels will hold a press conference next Tuesday to "further explain his condition, treatment and prognosis."
Earlier this month, Michaels was rushed to hospital with severe abdominal pains. Doctors discovered he had acute appendicitis and he went into emergency surgery.
Michaels, who is currently appearing on Celebrity Apprentice, had a long list of tour dates throughout the U.S. this summer, but those have been postponed until the singer is healthy. The singer joined the band Poison in
