Heidi Klum regrets planning a surprise birthday bash for her husband Seal earlier this year - because the singer was too exhausted to go along with her plans for a romantic getaway.
The British hitmaker turned 47 on February 19, and his supermodel wife planned an elaborate trip to Santa Catalina Island off the coast of California.
But she was stunned when her husband rejected her surprise trip, admitting he'd rather spend the day at home.
Klum says, "(His birthday) went terribly wrong... I thought it was a good idea if we go to Catalina, and he'd just been working non-stop. Then he came home and I said, 'Surprise! Get in the limo we're going!' And he said, 'Where are we going? I don't really want to go anywhere.' He just wanted to stay home with the kids."
