Craig "Dangerous" McKinnon, 34, was only in theBachelorette house for five days before , but he, his big mouth and his luscious locks made quite the impression on everyone but rose bearer . Not that the dental salesman from Toronto cared too much. He says he didn't feel "the natural connection" with the star of . He elaborated on that subject, his villain status and his perceived feud with the weatherman during a conference call with reporters. –Carrie Bell
Your attacks on Jonathan were relentless.
The weatherman situation was not serious at all. I was totally joking and having a good time. Jonathan may be uptight. He's a good guy who took things the wrong way.
You say you were joking, but you were definitely portrayed as a bully. Are you upset with the edit?
I'm definitely not upset with the producers. It did make it an entertaining two episodes and that was the point. I guess I was portrayed [as a villain]. People who know me laughed their heads off and had a great time watching.
Did seeing yourself on TV make you regret anything?
The one thing I regret is the episode between Jesse and I in the kitchen. I wasn't too proud of that. The next morning we apologized to each other. It was inappropriate behavior.
Do you blame the weatherman for your early dismissal?
It was a combination of Jonathan saying I was stirring up trouble and was there for the wrong reasons and Ali [knowing] I wasn't interested in her … That probably trumped what Jonathan said.
Reflect on Ali calling you out.
She asked me about the dangerous part because Jonathan said that. It shocked me that he would use a word like that because I was joking. I was offended that he went and told Ali the situation between us. The other major question she asked was if I even liked her. From all the ums and ahs, you could see that I wasn't that interested in Ali.
Were you surprised when you were eliminated or did you expect it?
It wasn't a huge surprise. Ali and I didn't have a connection. Ali felt the same way.
If you weren't interested in Ali, why go on the show?
I went on the show to find someone I could love and possibly get to the point of engagement. That was my sole purpose. But it was also for the experience. Anyone who says they aren't there for an experience is lying. When I saw it was Ali, I wanted to still go on the show and have fun with it.
What's your impression of Justin "Rated R" Rego?
After talking to him, the wrestler seemed pretty decent. He probably wasn't there for the right reasons. He played up his wrestling personality, but he didn't seem like that bad of a guy.
Who do you think is right for her?
Kirk, Roberto and Chris L. are a good fit. Those three seem really genuine about why they're there.
You appeared to have fun posing for the calendar. Perhaps because your costume was fairly tame?
I was one of the lucky guys who didn't have to wear a Speedo. Kudos to those guys who pulled it off. That took a lot of guts.
As you left the house, you declared that it wouldn't take long to get back in the saddle. Have you?
I meant back into the job routine and normal schedule. I'm working on it. There have been media things going on and my head has not been 100 percent back to the normal schedule. I don't have a girlfriend. I haven't found the right one.
What are you looking for?
A smart, easygoing, obviously attractive woman with a great personality and sense of humor. A best friend.
Are you worried the "dangerous" portrayal will hurt chances with future ladies?
I'm a very laid back, non-confrontational person and found that word very offensive. A few people may think that's who I am, but people who know me know that's not the case and I don't think people who have a conversation with me would get that idea. I don't think most women would hold it against me.
