The CW will try to hook viewers early in the fall, rolling out most of its 2010-11 lineup before the official start of the TV season.
The network will kick off its fall lineup with the 15th cycle of "America's Next Top Model" at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday, Sept. 8. "Hellcats," one of two new series The CW is premiering in the fall, follows at 9 p.m.
"The Vampire Diaries," the net's biggest show of last season, begins its second year on at 8 o'clock Thursday, Sept. 9, followed by the buzzed-about newbie "Nikita," which stars Maggie Q as a rogue assassin.
The new Monday duo of "90210" and "Gossip Girl" debuts Sept. 13, and "One Tree Hill" and "Life Unexpected" premiere Tuesday, Sept. 14. Fans of "Smallville," which is entering its final season, and "Supernatural" will have to wait a little bit longer; they're both scheduled to premiere Friday, Sept. 24.
