She's a little behind schedule, but Miranda Cosgrove is ready for a set of hot wheels. There's just one problem.
"I need my license!" the iCarlystar, 17, told PEOPLE at Sunday's . "My parents have been trying to get me to get my license. I have no idea why I don't have it."
The delay, at least, has given the actress time to reflect on what car she wants. A year ago, , she told PEOPLE she wanted a Volkswagen Bug. Now, she's changed her mind.
"My dream car would be a Range Rover Sport – white with black tinted windows," she said. "But I will not end up with that. It's probably going to end up a [Toyota] Prius."
Though she might not have flipped through a driver's-ed manual just yet, she has had her nose in the books – in particular, prepping for the SAT two months from now. "I'm nervous," she says. "I've been going through it. I feel like I'm getting kind of ready. I'm almost ready."
But fans, rest assured. College – probably at either – will not send Cosgrove into hibernation. "I'm still going to do acting," she said. "Acting is my passion."
