{alltv} Samantha Mathis and Jamie-Lynn Sigler Set for 'Love, Loss' in NYC

Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh, Samantha Mathis and Jamie-Lynn Sigler will join the Off-Broadway cast of Love, Loss, and What I Wore in the coming months.

Sigler, know for "The Sopranos" and Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, will begin performances Sept. 1 alongside the previously announced Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza), Sandy Duncan (Peter Pan), Nancy Giles ("CBS Sunday Morning") and Stacy London ("What Not to Wear"). The quintet will continue through Oct. 3.

A four-time Tony nominee, Feldshuh (Golda's Balcony, Irena's Vow) and Mathis are the first to be cast in the Oct. 6-31 slot.

Jayne Houdyshell (Well, Coraline), Adriane Lenox (Doubt), Allison Mack ("Smallville"), Kate Mulgrew (Teat at Five) and Kristine Nielsen (Why Torture Is Wrong begin performances July 28 and will continue through Aug. 29.

Karen Carpenter directs the production authored by Nora and Delia Ephron based on Ilene Beckerman's book of the same name that "uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to."

The design team includes Jo Winiarski (scenic design), Jessica Jahn (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Walter Trarbach (sound design) and Maria Verel (make-up design).

Carpenter also directed the Monday night readings of Love, Loss, and What I Wore that were presented this past winter and spring as a benefit for Dress for Success. A portion of the proceeds from the current run benefits Dress for Success.
