Fast National ratings for Wednesday, July 28, 2010
The "America's Got Talent" results lifted NBC to another ratings win Wednesday night, holding off CBS, while at the other end of the spectrum, the premiere of "Plain Jane" on The CW went largely unnoticed.
NBC averaged 6.75 million viewers and a 4.1 rating/7 share for the night, narrowly beating CBS' 6.4 million and 4.1/7. FOX (5.3 million, 3.3/6) came in third. ABC (3.8 million, 2.6/5) finished fourth, while The CW drew just over 1 million viewers and a 0.7/1.
